Parade on down to Barnes & Noble Metairie on Veterans Blvd for a Storytime at noon and signing from 11:00-1:00 for my two Mardi Gras books Who Got the Baby in the King Cake? and Mumbo Jumbo, Stay Out of the Gumbo, A Cajun Mardi Gras Tale.

Join me for the Grand Opening of the Storywalk at the Jackson Parish Library. I will read/sing my book My Aunt Came Back from Louisiane with children as we travel along the Storywalk, and then I will sing the song from the book as part of a concert for children and their families!

Join her at the New Orleans Book Festival for a concert, reading, and book signing at the Devlin Fieldhouse Main Stage at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. Concert and reading from 10:00-10:20 and the book signing next to the stage is from 10:20-10:50.

Johnette will be a featured author at the Louisiana Book Festival in downtown Baton Rouge with her new board book Five Little Possums, and her new poetry book for grown-ups Singing Waters, A Selection of Haiku, Senryu and Haibun. Times and stage locations TBA.
